Lowestoft Church hosting disabilities training

Lowestoft Church hosting disabilities training
Eastpoint Vineyard Church is hosting training to empower churches to welcome people with learning disabilities
Eastpoint Vineyard Church, based at Lowestoft Community Hub, Rotterdam Road, Lowestoft, NR32 2EZ will welcome Count Everyone In to provide the training on Saturday 15th November 2025, from 10.00 am – 4.30 pm. This day will be an opportunity to hear from the people with many years’ experience in leading, advising, training and supporting churches to welcome and be accessible for adults with learning disabilities
Count Everyone In began in 2017 with just Pete and Christine Winmill, from Newbury in West Berkshire. With 35 years’ experience between them, they couldn’t ignore God’s prompting to step out and start Count Everyone In. They were convinced that we can’t expect adults with learning disabilities in our churches to know who Jesus is unless someone helps them to understand, to trust Him and to grow in faith
With an estimated 1.5 million adults with learning disabilities, the vast majority of whom never enter any of the 40,000 churches in the UK, there is work to be done, inspiring and equipping those churches to be welcoming and accessible to everyone, especially adults with learning disabilities. This is a huge task and Count Everyone In is uniquely placed as a registered UK charity focusing on this specific area of Christian ministry in England and Wales
The heart of Count Everyone In is to see all Christians mobilised to use the gifts God has given us so that we all live life to the full, as God intended, and extend that same invitation to life to those who might otherwise miss out
Places cost £30 and will be limited but can be booked by emailing booking@counteveryonein.org.uk
