Yarmouth Salvation Army return to Citadel

Great Yarmouth Salvation Army is celebrating being able to return to their building following the completion of repairs

This week, Great Yarmouth Salvation Army Citadel will be formally reopening its doors after nearly 10 months of extensive repairs to the building. Whilst the work was underway, the Salvation Army's church services and foodbank were hosted in the Unitarian church building just across the road from the citadel. However with the completion of the work, the church and foodbank have now been able to return to their home on Tolhouse Street

On Sunday, June 16, the Great Yarmouth Salvation Army warmly issues an invitation to attend a celebratory rededication meeting led by retired Majors Martin and Michelle Wheeler. The meeting starts at 10.30am and will be followed by a light lunch

Major Martin Wheeler says: “All are welcome and we look forward to having you worship with us in this space once again”

The Great Yarmouth Salvation Army’s crisis foodbank & agency drop-in sessions will also return to this site from Monday 17th June and will take place every Monday and Tuesday between 10am to 12 noon
