The purpose of the role is to develop both the content and the contributor base of the Yarmouth Mercury Viewpoint column in order to further the work of God’s one church in the Borough of Great Yarmouth under the banner of Borough Wide Churches Forum
primary responsibilities
· to obtain Christian contributors from a broad spectrum who will communicate to all, both
Christian and non-Christian, the word of God and how to apply it in daily lives
· to keep the list of contributors without preference to denomination
· to assist in keeping a bank of back-up articles from varied contributors
· to be vigilant as to the integrity of entries
· to forward articles to the Yarmouth Mercury observing strict deadlines
· to make all effort to attend meetings regularly
skills required
· understanding of email, internet
· familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel programmes
· good communication skills
· good organisational skills
· able to work as part of a team
