Community Connections to hit the road

This summer, Community Connections is hitting the road to find out what YOU think about your local community.

Community Connections exists to help people across the Borough of Great Yarmouth get access to the information, skills, and training they might need, and find out how they can make a difference in area that they live.

Every Monday, the Community Connections team will be at locations across the Borough, listening to YOUR thoughts and opinions of your local area, and offering advice and support. We want to understand the issues that are affecting you, so together we can make a change.

Seen a problem in your community that needs addressing? Need help in deciding your next step or planning your future? Come and meet the team, and find out all the options that are available to you. Community Connections is your first stop in getting help – we can offer support and guidance in providing the information that you need on a range of issues, such as employment, education, housing, health, and welfare.

Find out what is going on in your area – you might discover a community group or activity that interests you, or get advice on forming your own group and receive access to funding opportunities. Our Health Trainers will also demonstrate how they can offer free confidential lifestyle assessments and support, as well as providing healthy refreshments at each location.

We want to know how you feel about your community – come down for a chat and refreshments, and meet the team.
