Open the Book October 2024

Open the book is part of the Bible Society. It’s a bible storytelling ministry to primary school children. This year we celebrate the 25th anniversary of ‘Open the Book’ and the mission and vision to share bible stories with children everywhere through the power of storytelling. We all love a good story and Jesus was a master of telling them
 
Here at St Andrew’s, it has been a great privilege and blessing to go into two of our local schools – Stradbroke and Wroughton – for a number of years now, to present and tell the stories that Jesus told us, to both pupils and staff. Wherever possible we get the children to take part by acting and dressing up which is always such fun. We hope and trust that we are able to express and offer the love of God and a knowledge of Jesus’ love and care towards all of us
