Time Norfolk provides free wellbeing support for anyone who has experienced a pregnancy related issue associated with pregnancy loss at any stage, pregnancy choice and baby loss The grief of pregnancy loss or baby loss is a complicated grief and is sometimes unacknowledged. Grief can affect anyone at any stage in their life - a recent loss or a loss several years ago. The clients we support at TimeNorfolk, have experienced loss through miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, ectopic pregnancy, or molar pregnancy Pregnancy loss can affect men’s mental health as well, so our referrals from men are growing as this subject becomes less taboo. The counselling support provides a confidential and safe space to journey through grief with a trained practitioner The need for this support is essential. For miscarriage alone, it is estimated that 1 in 5 pregnancies ends in miscarriage (1 in 6 if we only count women who realized/reported the miscarriage). One client says “Going to my weekly meetings saved me. I learnt to deal with my constant worries and fears for my new pregnancy. I felt hope and learnt techniques that will stay with me for life. Time Norfolk has been such a support, it always felt like my sanctuary and safe place at my weekly meetings. I am now looking forward to welcoming my first child and I cannot thank TimeNorfolk enough" We provide counselling online as well as Face to Face at our hubs in Norwich, Great Yarmouth, and Kings Lynn. Our hub in Great Yarmouth opened in January 2022 and we now celebrate the flexibility of having our own space to support more clients photo is of TimeNorfolk Great Yarmouth hub
