God was the light of the world in Genesis 1 before the sun was created. SO in Revelation the New Jerusalem has no need of the Sun... God is its light
On day 3, God made the grass shrubs and trees. On day 5 God made the fish and birds. On day 6 God made the cattle creeping things and beasts. We learn in Chapters 2 and 3 that he made us from the dust of the ground. Now having just made all these other living things don't you think scripture would have said that he took one of the smartest monkeys that he had made and turned it into a man... If that was what happened. But NO it says Yahweh Elohim formed man out of the DUST of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life and man became a living soul. Our life came direct from God not from a monkey...
Before we were saved would we have been accepted as a sacrifice? No. But now we are righteous by faith...washed in the blood of Yeshua. Now we can offer our bodies as a LIVING sacrifice...
All Old Testament sacrifices were consumed by fire. When we offer our body as a living sacrifice God sends the fire of His Holy Spirit to consume it
We are a living fire, a burning Bush
