Great Yarmouth churches provide holiday food and fun

Four churches in Great Yarmouth Borough have been providing groups which provide fun, community, and a meal for local families during the summer holidays.  Tony Rothe, Network East Norfolk, reports
 

 
Kingsgate Community Church in Great Yarmouth, Magdalen Way Methodist Church and St Mary Magdalene Church in Gorleston and St Peter's Roman Catholic Church, also in Gorleston, have all opened their doors to local families, parents, and children. Volunteers have enjoyed time getting to know each other, taking part in fun activities, and sharing a meal
 
Anna Heydon, from Imagine Norfolk Together, says “Over recent years you may have seen reports in the media about how difficult the holidays can be for some families, particularly for those who have to manage without the free school meals which they receive during term-time. This summer, those churches have responded to this need by running these schemes.  Please pray for the families who have attended, and their relationships with the churches”
