The new leadership team for 2016/17 will be Biddy (Chair of Trustees for CCTNN), Jan Tapp, Tracy Taylor, Joe McManus and David Patterson. They will all become trustees when TLC GY gain their own charity status, and Biddy will stay as our Chair of Trustees. She will review in a year but will possibly stay for the next two years. She commented on humility of the team wanting serve, and her belief that God can use them because of this.
SM shared how she had noticed a honeysuckle in her garden that had not flowered for 5 years, but this year is flowering. She believes this is due to the roots being covered with foliage that has grown to cover them. She feels that as TLC GY comes under a new covering of it’s own independent status as a charity it will flourish.
She read Isaiah 43: 18-19
JH shared a little about the work of Heartbeat ministries and the forthcoming visit of Charlie Shamp to Great Yarmouth
JT gave an over view of her report / finance and team (whole report attached to minutes)
TT gave insight to team prayer
JT continued with an overview of TLC’s work: Community Outreach / 1 to 1 Support / Street Teams /The Hope Bus (with photos)
TT thanked JT for giving 125% to the work of TLC, and reiterated the small income she receives
BC closed the meeting in prayer
Chair's Report
As Chairman of the Christian Community Trust for Norwich and Norfolk Ltd, the charity under which TLC GY operates until they get charitable status, I want to congratulate everyone for the hard work that has gone into insuring that TLC GY is making a difference in Great Yarmouth. I have heard so many heart-breaking but also encouraging stories of lives being changed, in big ways and small
Meeting regularly with Jan is always a pleasure. Through her ups and downs. I know the cost that this work has taken, especially on Jan, but I also know that you are bringing in the Kingdom of God to many people's lives
Bless you all
Biddy Collyer
