A series of workshops for parents and carers of young people with alcohol or drugs misuse problems is being offered by the Christian based charity The Matthew Project in Great Yarmouth and Swaffham
Following on from the success of the Norwichprogramme, The Matthew Project Under18 Service is running a further series of workshops for parents and carers of young people with alcohol or drug misuse problems, this time in Swaffham and Great Yarmouth
The aims of the workshops include giving practical information around drugs and alcohol, strategies for coping with challenging behaviour and ideas for more effective communication between parents and their children

Both the Great Yarmouth and Swaffham courses start on Thursday May 15 and run for 8 weeks on consecutive Thursdays from 10:00-12:30 at the Black Monk Room, The Priory Centre, Priory Plain, Great Yarmouth and Swaffham Community Centre, the Campingland, Swaffham
The cost is £10 (for the whole course) to cover admin costs but free concessions are available
