Christians from ten different churches came together to celebrate TLC's first anniversary. It was a joy to see a group of people from diverse backgrounds, cultures and denominations come together joined by their love of Jesus for an evening of fun and fellowship at Regents Road Bowling Alley
The evening started with a return to the early churches tradition of joining together for an Agape meal. Prayers of thanksgiving were said and testimonies shared of the amazing journey God has taken the team. Pastor Emmanuel Enosegboh of Oasis Church, Great Yarmouth described TLC's journey as a walk of faith
Jan especially thanked Sandra and Duane Staitham for their donation of a beautiful anniversary 'Hope Bus Cake' and to Rev Linda Ricketts of St. Mary Magdalene Church, Gorleston and Mark Heybourne of Norwich Diocesan, who had not only believed in the vision but had also given Jan tremendous personal support. The TLC team expressed their gratitude to Biddy Collier from Dream and Visions who had met with them in the early days with the intention of telling them the team were not going to fund them but had in fact funded the purchase of 'The Hope Bus' encouraged by Jan Tapp and Tracy Taylors enthusiasm to bring a ‘Bus load of TLC to the heart of the community’. The bus is currently being professionally revamped but the work of TLC is growing as they now offer a monthly ‘Christian Craft Nite’ and ‘TLC Knit or Natter Group’. Their street evangelism team continues to grow monthly. They are also offering support to individuals and families in the community in both practical ways as well as being a listening ear
If you would like to hear the testimony of TLC there will be a presentation at The Oasis Church in Peggotty Road, Great Yarmouth on Sunday 30

June at 10.30
