£400 donated to Salvation Army
£400 was donated to the Great Yarmouth Salvation Army in January by St Mary’s Church, West Somerton and All Saints Church, Horsey. The donation included £300 collected at the Carol Service and from the Memorial Branch of Stars at St Mary’s and £100 collected at the Benefice Epiphany Evensong held at All Saints, Horsey
An important part of The Salvation Army’s work is the Care & Share Shop at 167 King Street, Great Yarmouth, NR30 2PA. The shop is always pleased to receive donations of clothing, shoes, books, DVDs, videos, CDs, electrical goods, bric-a-brac and furniture. Tinned and packet foods, toiletries and bedding are also gratefully received. Collections of furniture or any donated goods can be arranged – please call 01493 858117
