Dove rightJesus said "LET NOT YOUR HEART BE TROUBLED; NEITHER LET IT BE AFRAID" yet there are many people who are very fearful of things that are happening in our environment (called global warming?) wars, sickness, the future, the economy etc .Yet Jesus is saying don’t be worried . Because these things are prophesied that they are going to happen and even a lot worse than we see in the world now!!

In the Old Testament, Jeremiah the prophet warned the people that unless they changed their ways God would judge them and allow Nebuchadnezzar to defeat them and take them into captivity. They tried to silence him, in the end he had a scribe write down all he had prophesied and it was read out to the king, who, on hearing part of it, had it burnt up. Now his action did not stop what was prophesied becoming fact

To deny the signs (prophecy) that we find in God’s Word concerning end-times is like putting one’s head in the sand. For many of us to read the bible is like reading today’s news

dove leftOne of the main illustrations of the relevance of prophecy to the situation today is the nation of the Jews Israel, not a nation since AD 70, These people were dispersed throughout the world for nearly 2000 years (as God prophesied many times in the old Testament would happen  (Deuteronomy 28:64 – Leviticus 26:33). But God also promised that he would preserve them as a separate people even thou they were dispersed throughout the world (Isaiah 66:22 - Jeremiah 30:11)

So, in 1948 May14, we saw the fulfilment of those prophecies as millions returned to their home land. Even though Arab nations have tried to destroy that nation many times with the odds heavily in their favour, God has preserved the nation Israel and will do so in the future (Amos 9:15)

One of the surest signs of Jesus Christ’s imminent return was to be the reoccupation of Jerusalem (Luke 21:24). This happened during the Six Day War (June 1967)

Something seems to be changing the environment in which we live, some call it climate change? Whatever you call it, it is real! so what is happening? I believe the bible has a clear answer

Some of the signs Jesus gave us in (Matt 24 - Mark 13 – Luke 21) can help us understand what is happening now

And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.
And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.  For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences (diseases) , and earthquakes, in many places.  All these are the beginning of sorrows

The Bible says in Acts 16:31   Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house
