Day of Prayer in the Market Place

13269029158544After chatting with the Great Yarmouth Council, we have been given permission to hold a day of prayer in the Market Place. This will take place on Saturday 27th October. We will be setting up in the area opposite the Fishermen's Hospital (where the canon used to be). The day will run from 8am until 5pm. Anyone can come and join us for any part of that day, coming and going when it is convenient for them. Ideally we would like to have people joining us throughout the day, not all at once! To this end it would be helpful if you are intending to come if you could let us know at what time you think you would be there. We will be producing a diary for the day with half-hourly time slots for people to sign up. You can let me know directly via my email address below or through your local church as we will be sending a copy of the rota to each church leader for folk to fill in

There is no limit. If you can only make one half-hourly slot it would be great to have you join us, on the other hand if you want to stay all morning, all afternoon or even all day, then that would be terrific!

It has been great that Christians from various churches across the Borough have been meeting up and praying with each other in recent times. Small groups of individuals from different churches have met up, as have Church leaders. Our Prayer for Revival meetings have been well attended and created a real sense of expectancy as we have sought God together for Him to come and do a great work in our Borough. To have a Day of Prayer for our Borough affords us another opportunity to build on our unity and call out to God for Great Yarmouth

We will be praying for many things during the day, with guidance given on what to pray for. There are huge needs in our Borough and we will be praying for these. We will be praying for our town, the council, our schools and colleges, businesses, market stall holders, churches and much more. Of course the greatest need is for people in our Borough to come to know Jesus and to have God in their lives and we will be praying much for that
